  Kissimmee, FL - Shirley Sakowicz passed peacefully March 4th, 2024 at the Advent hospital in Orlando, FL surrounded by loved ones. Shirley was born in Athol, MA on October 30, 1953. She was the daughter of Ronald and Shirley (Webster) Kingsbury. She graduated from Ralph C. Mahar Regional High School, where she was known as the "class clown". She worked as a waitress at several different businesses in the area including Cinnamon's, White Cloud, and Norway's. Shirley was also a co-owner of Brother's meat and deli in Orange, MA. She enjoyed going to the casinos, playing bingo, taking motorcycle rides and making new friends from her porch at the RV resort where she resided. Survivors include her husband Dave of forty-seven years. Shirley is also survived by her three sisters, Deb, Tammy and Pamela Kingsbury. Her children, Jennifer and her husband Jay Breault; Jeff and his wife Stephanie Sakowicz; Tami and her husband Joe Goodyear. Shirley is also survived by thirteen Grandchildren, and three Great Grandchildren. "Grandbabies" include, Amanda, Kaylee, Jacob, Samantha, Tyler, Nathan, Drew, Natashia, Noah also Jaden, Joshua, Joey and Terrell. "Great Grandbabies" Taylor, Avery and Cooper. There will be no calling hours. A Celebration of Life will be held on May 4th, 2024, from 2:00PM- 6:00PM at the Franco-American National Club, 592 South St., Athol, MA 01331> Published by the Athol Daily News, 13 March 2024
