Mom was pregnant when she graduated from high school in 1959 and dad still had a year of school left. I'm still trying to put information together which isn't easy since both my parents are deceased. My mom married a man she hardly knew so she didn't have to give me up for adoption (hence the reason for my maiden name). They never married due to my grandparents not allowing it with dad having a year of school left."
