He worked for U.S. Forest Service and was overcome by heat and smoke fightin a forest fire in West Virginia and died in a hospital on his two month wedding anniversery. He was buried in Bridgewater, Virginia. His family talked his wife into moving his body to Massachuetts. She never remarried. He was a very good artist. I have an oil painting he did. His wife is my aunt."
