    Text Katherine L. Forster ORANGE- Katherine L. Foster Forster, 98, of 60 Chestnut Hill Road, the Forster Farm, died peacefully late Sunday evening, October 16, 2005 at her home following an illness. Born on February 15, 1907 in Chico, California, she was a daughter of Albert C. and Susie S. Adams Foster. She moved to Orange at a young age and attended Orange Grammar and High Schools. In 1926, she married Clifford J. Forster Sr. And they moved to the Forster Farm on Chestnut Hill where they enjoyed nearly 60 years of marriage till Clifford's passing in 1985. During their marriage, Katherine helped her husband with the operation of the dairy farm. Katherine also had been a member of the North New Salem Congregational Church for a number of years. A caring and kind lady, she enjoyed her family as well as flower gardening, reading, and cooking. She is survived by a son, Clifford J. "Jack" Forster Jr. Of Orange; a daughter, Dorothy E. Forster, of Orange; daughter in law, Dorothy M. Forster; grandchildren, John Forster and his wife Catherine, James Forster and his wife Nancy, Kathleen Forster, Karen Mathers and her husband Michael, Bonnie Stewart, Cynthia Stewart Szafir and her husband Stanley, Darlene Stewart, and Robert Stewart and his wife Vicki; great grandchildren, Samuel Forster, Benjamin Forster, Lisa Forster, David Forster, John Forster, Roger Forster, Gary Forster, Ryan Mathers, Jacqueline Mathers, Jennifer Szafir, Taryn Stewart, Krysten Stewart, and Bryan Stewart. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Suzanne E. Stewart on May 24, 2004 and a son in law, Alan Stewart on May 18, 2004. A Memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2005 at 2:00PM at the North New Salem Congregational Church, 60 Elm Street, New Salem. Rev. Edward T. Boren, Pastor, and the Rev. Dr. John Vannorsdall will officiate. Interment will be private. A reception will be held following the memorial service at the Forster Farm on Chestnut Hill. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Memorial Garden Fund, North New Salem Congregational Church, c/o Loretta Bergquist, 207 South Main Street, Orange, MA 01364.
