Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, he is survived by his devoted wife of 49 years, Mary Jean; children Marianne, Jon, Pamela, Jay and Heidi; grandchildren Annemarie, Jay, Christopher, Amber, Thomas, Justin, Jennifer, Madison, great-grandson Hayden and a sister, Elizabeth Verry. He will be remembered as a loving husband and father who sacrificed everything for his family and his country with 30 years of dedicated service as a U.S. Army Ranger, including tours in Korea and Vietnam. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 5th at 10:30 a.m., ADAIR AVALON CHAPEL , 8090 N. Northern Avenue. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Disabled American Veterans
