    Text Hi Rob,

My name is Beverly Bolton Leyden; I am the daughter of Ruth Whitaker Bolton, and I live in Hebron ME. I have a couple items for you. the first is that Elinor Whitaker Ambo, my aunt, daughter of Charles H. and Orra M.(Hale) Whitaker died on March 28, 2010 in Saratoga Springs NY at the Wesley Health Care Center. Obits online at Greenfield Recorder Gazette, Greenfield MA and the Saratogian, Saratoga Springs, NY. Aunt Elinor and Uncle "Iggy" (Tony) had no children and after his death, Aunt Elinor made my sister and I her caretakers. My sister and I have contacted our Whitaker cousins and are planning a graveside gathering on May 22 in Bernardston.

I don't think that I ever gave you Mother's date of death in 2007, and will forward that to you if you do not already have it. Next, an experience I had which might be of interest to you. A few years ago I was in Europe on school business and took extra time for a short vacation trip with German friends. We stopped in Leiden in the Netherlands at the Pilgrim Museum and, after the Docent's tour, I asked some questions about my husband's family Leyden, and then out of curiosity mmentioned the Delvee Family. The Docent was an interesting person, sounded like he knew quite a bit about the early history of families, business, etc. He suggested that possibly the name Delvee may have been "De La V--?" of French Huguenot ancestry, coming to Holland to escape religious persecution, and joining the Pilgrims coming to America. We shared a couple interesting hours.
