Eric was a loving and supportive father to his 2 sons, Aaron & Elijah Godin. He taught them boating, fishing, camping, hiking, wilderness survival, and all about boy scouts! He took them camping/fishing every weekend and spent many wonderful hours outside on campgrounds around Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Connecticut with his 2 sons.
Eric was also an astute chess player--earning the title "National Master". As a member of the Boylston Chess Club, he won hundreds of Chess Tournaments around New England. His Professional Chess Career began in 1985 when he won the New Hartford State Championship.
Eric will always be remembered as a wonderful & supportive father and friend. He gave all he had and did all he could to support his family. Thank you for filling our lives with joy and adventure! We love you, Eric.
