Mr. Thayer was former baritone soloist at First Parish Church, Unitarian, in Harvard Square, Cambridge, and First Unitarian Church in Dedham, soloist and choir master at St. John's Church in Jamaica Plain, and for 20 years soloist at the First Church of Christ Scientist in Rockland.
