He was born in Warwick December 1, 1887, son of the late Frank H and Mattie M. (Rogers) Moore and had been a resident of Belchertown for 20 years and previously was road superintendant in Dana. He was recently employed by Ketchen's Machine Shop and Quabbin Industries, Inc. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Harriet L. (Trask) Moore; two sons, James of Springfield and Walter of Feeding Hills; two grandchildren; three brothers, Raymond of Worcester, Roger of Madison, Me. and Frank of Greenfield; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Salisbury and Mrs. Alice Mason both of Glendale, California; step-mother Mrs. C. Edith Moore of Worcester. Mr. Moore was a dooryard neighbor of ours. He was forever busy at something. We admired his courage and his friendliness was a joy.
