She was a homemaker and graduated from Mount Holyoke College. She was a volunteer at Venice Hospital Auxiliary for 13 years and a member of Plantation Golf and Country Club. She was a Christian. Survivors include three daughters, Suzanne Johns of Liverpool, N.Y., Nancy P. Mesko of Venice and Jille of Osprey; a son, Douglas R. of Travelers Rest, S.C.; a brother, David Johnson of Nashua, N.H.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services will be private. Inurnment will be in Indian Spring Cemetery, Punta Gorda. Lemon Bay Funeral Home, Venice Chapel, is in charge.
