• History: According to his obituary, "Mr. Moore grew up in Baldwinville and attended local schools, where he played on the football and basketball teams. He then joined the United States Navy and served from Jan. 4, 1945 to July 17, 1946 during World War II, receiving the American Theatre Medal, the Victory Medal, and the European Theatre Medal. Mr. Moore graduated from the Fisher Business College in Somerville. He worked as a stock trader for over 30 years in Boston and on Wall Street, before his retirement in 1993. He traveled to many places during his career including California, Florida, Texas, Colorado, North Carolina, and Virginia. He was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed playing golf. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox."
