(Parmenter) Wetmore, died in 1980. He leaves two sons, Sen. Robert D. Wetmore, D-Barre, and Elmer M. Wetmore Jr. of Wheaton, Ill.; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He was born in Warwick, son of Charles W. and Hattie (Delvey) Wetmore, and later lived in Orange. He lived here for 65 years. Mr. Wetmore worked for 25 years in the enamel room at Florence Oil Stove Co. He was then a treatment-plant operator at Gardner State Hospital before he retired. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, in Smith Funeral Home, 69 Vernon St. Burial will be private in Riverside Cemetery, Barre. There are no calling hours.
