From his father: "My son, Justin Harold Swanson, 31 years old, was walking home in Omaha Nebraska on December 14th, 2017. He was struck by a car and sustained multiple injuries including brain trauma. He died 6 days later, December 20th, in the Intensive Care Unit at Bergan Mercy in Omaha.
A Celebration of Life ceremony was held on December 30th in his birth city of Council Bluffs, Iowa, where approximately 340 people attended.
He was cremated and I have not yet decided where or when to bury the ashes.

From the Athol Daily News, 6 June 1952, "Cecil Stiles Ballou, 55, owner of the dairy farm and registered Gurnsey herd at 383 East River St. Orange, was burned to death in a flash fire in his barn yesterday afternoon. Ballou was pitching hay from a loft to a tractor-powered bailer on the barn floor, which was being operated by his son, Derrill. The Shepardson Family
David Cook Shepardson, fourth son of Daniel and Prudence (Cook) Shepardson, was born Oct. 2, 1815. He married Emily Grout of Warwick, Oct. 26, 1835, and lived there most of his life after he was grown up in Warwick, Mass., where he was a farmer and also owned a sawmill and was engaged in the lumber business more or less. He had six children, four boys and two girls, all of whom are dead with the exception of one son, Andrew Shepardson, who lives in Warwick. | Shepardson, David Cook (I2750)
