Frank was born in Keene, NH on October 21, 1963 the son of Francis E. and Mary (Smith) Waterman, Sr. He was raised and educated in Brattleboro, graduating from Brattleboro Union High School, Class of 1981. He proudly served in the U.S. Army for three years, stationed in Germany. Following his honorable discharge, he worked as a self-employed carpenter employed in the Deerfield Valley and Bennington areas. Survivors include his mother, Mary Sawin and husband Jesse of Athol, Mass.; one son, Travis Waterman of Eddington, Maine; one daughter, Ava Elizabeth Waterman of Bennington; one brother, Michael Waterman of Brattleboro; one sister, Melissa Waterman of Beacon, NY; his maternal grandmother, Maxine Smith of Vernon and several aunts, uncles and cousins. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at the Atamaniuk Funeral Home with Daniel Parsons, Chaplain of the Salvation Army of Athol, officiating.
