• History: According to her obituary, "She grew up in Pittsfield attending local schools and graduated from Taconic High School. She later went on to attend McCann Technical in North Adams to pursue training in cosmetology, and then worked for many years as a hair stylist at Shear Design in Lenox, where she developed a loyal clientele. She later received certification as an esthetician and worked at Canyon Ranch; she was most recently employed at Cranwell Resort and Conference Center's spa. She was an avid runner and member of Lenox Fitness Center. She enjoyed the outdoors and the ocean in particular, and she loved reading and spending time with her family. She was a devoted mother, stepmother, wife, daughter, sister and best friend. She was full of life, love and good humor for all of those in her life."
