She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Elmer; her four children, Brian (Deborah) of Wheaton, Bruce (Bernadette) of Broomfield, Colo., Bari (Michel Salathe) Wetmore Salathe of Switzerland and David (Anne) of Arlington, Va.; 14 grandchildren, Jeremy (Caroline), Elizabeth and Thomas, Christopher, Colin, Ryan, Nathan and Brianna, Philip and Marc Salathe, and Mathieu, Camille, Mirabelle and Celeste; five sisters; one brother; and many nieces, nephews, and countless friends. She was preceded in death by three brothers; and one sister. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to the Cornerstone Building Fund at Gary United Methodist Church, 224 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187."
