    • Obituary: 20 Feb 2012; Linda Parker Sanicki, 68, of East Falmouth, MA passed away peacefully at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA surrounded by her family on February 16th, 2012. She was an extremely strong, optimistic and brave woman who fought a difficult battle over the past years. Her long struggle has comfortably ended, but her love and strength will endure. Linda was the daughter of the late Howard and Adele Parker of Greenfield, MA. She attended Greenfield High School and graduated from Castleton State College in Vermont. Linda taught for over 30 years as an elementary school teacher in the Bourne school system. She touched many lives not only professionally but personally as well. She most enjoyed her time spent with her family and friends. Her hobbies included playing word and card games, arts and crafts, gardening, music, computer activities and creative writing. She was the adored mother of Amy Sanicki-Isaacson and her husband Douglas Isaacson of Bernardsville, NJ, Jay Sanicki and his wife Kristen of Framingham, MA, and Scott Sanicki of East Hampton, CT. She was also the beloved grandmother of her grandchildren, Geneva and Parker Isaacson. Visiting hours will be from 11-12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, at Chapman Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 475 Main St., Falmouth Center. A funeral mass will follow at 1 p.m. at St. Anthony's Parish, 167 East Falmouth Highway, East Falmouth, MA, 02536. Linda's final resting place will be beside her parents at the Mater Dolorosa Cemetery, Wisdom Way, Greenfield, MA 01301.
